Château les Croisille

Based in one of the most dynamic appellations in the south-west of France is Cahors where there is a resurgence of young winemakers challenging the status quo.

Amongst them is Germain Croisille who joined his family estate in 2008 and immediately began the conversion to organic viticulture, gaining certification in 2010.

The terroir of Cahors is a unique mix of limestone and iron deposits and has traditionally been known for creating deep, inky and tannic wines, but Germain’s focus has been on extracting the fragrant florals and vibrant acidity from his grapes, giving us immensely drinkable and fresh wines.
