Domaine Roger Pabiot

The best producers are those that come by word of mouth and recommendation, as is the case with Domaine Roger Pabiot.

Leading the charge is Pauline Pabiot who studied with Julie Gros (who is winemaking alongside her mother Anne Gros) in Burgundy. Pauline is the fifth generation at their family estate based in Tracy-sur-Loire. When she took over, she reigned in the viticulture and now practises sustainably under lutte raisonnee principles, whilst moving towards organic farming. Her wines are bright, chiselled and pure examples of Sauvignon Blanc.

They now have 22 hectares of vines of which some plantings are over 100 years old. Their exposed slopes overlook the Loire and stretch from Girarmes to Beauregard, showcasing the key terroirs of the appellation; sand, flint, clay, Kimmeridgian marl and hard limestone.
