Domaine Tribut

Domaine Tribut is interwoven with another serious Chablis domaine - Dauvissat; Laurent Tribut is married to Vincent Dauvissat’s sister, Marie Clotilde. He started his work alongside his brother-in-law in the Dauvissat cellars before moving into his own space in Poinchy. Taking the reins from Laurent are three of his children: Solange, Adeline and Gabriel. Solange is in charge of the winery and the winemaking, with Laurent keeping a mindful eye should she need it!

The family has just 5.2 hectares, so the quantities are very small, especially considering the demand. One can definitely draw similarities between the wines of Tribut and Dauvissat. However, above all else, they are brilliant and archetypal examples of Chablis - classically chiselled, crystalline and with a brilliant nervosité that remains even through decades of ageing.
